Position: Maintenance Worker

Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Jackson, KY

Employment type: Regular Full-Time

Minimum Requirements: Ability to lift/carry heavy objects.  May require HS/GED.  Requires relevant experience.

Primary functions:

1.  Responsible for maintaining KRCC facilities in a safe and good condition by:

• Renovation and remodeling projects as assigned.
• Maintaining grounds.
• Maintenance work, (plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, cleaning, moving).
• Submit monthly work logs.
• Maintain tool inventory, report lost or broken tools.
• Participate with process improvement activities as directed by program needs.

2.  Maintain a safe work area for employees and public.
3.  Provide backup for co-workers as required.
4. Participate in all department meetings and skill enhancement activities as required.
