Position: Community Support Associate

Credentials: High School Diploma/GED with one (1) year experience with the client population

Special skills: good social and communication skills.

Primary functions:

• Provide and utilize activities necessary to allow individual with mental illness to live with maximum independence in the community.
• Assure successful community living through utilization of skills training as identified in the individual service plan.
• Tracking community resources access and violation, emotional regulation skills, coping skills, how to shop, transportation, financial management, or developing and enhancing interpersonal skill.
• Reminding a recipient to take medication and manifesting symptoms end side effects of medication.
