Position: Community Support Associate

Company/Location: Kentucky River Community Care/Covers both Perry and Knott Counties

Employment type: Regular Full-Time

Credentials: High school diploma or GED and one year of relevant mental health experience.

Special skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy, organization/time management skills, work with interdisciplinary team.

Primary functions:

• Complete notes in the Electronic Medical Record in a timely manner.
• Conduct activities necessary to allow an individual to live with maximum independence in the community.
• Teaching: how to access/utilize community resources, emotional regulation skills, crisis/coping skills, how to budget/shop, financial management, how to access transportation, develop/enhance interpersonal skills.
• Ensure community living through utilization of skills training, cueing or supervision as identified in recipients treatment plan.
