ADRC Coordinator

The Kentucky River Area Development District, an eight-county planning and development agency, is accepting applications for the position of ADRC Coordinator.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Human Services, serves as the central point of contact for all clients requesting services in community programs and to find all resources available to assist them.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Health, or Human Services field or the educational or experiential equivalent in the fields of aging or disabilities; or a registered nurse with a current Kentucky license with at least two years’ experience working with the elderly or disabled.  Familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare programs is a plus.

Applicants must have good working knowledge of computers and software applications. Possesses good written and oral communication skills; knowledge of reporting and vital record keeping requirements; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, public, and elected officials. Must be able to maintain complete confidentiality of any information encountered while performing job responsibilities.  Must possess a valid driver license with no restrictions if driving a vehicle for company business. A competency test and criminal records check will be required before interviewing with the Personnel Committee of the KRADD. Applicants must pass a drug screen for employment offer.
