SUMMARY:Peer Support - Youth
DESCRIPTION:Approved by the Kentucky Department for Behavioral Health\, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities (DBHDID)\, the Peer Specialist Training assists peer staff in recovery by guiding clients toward identifying and achieving client-identified goals. The Peer Support Specialist will be trained to promote socialization\, recovery\, self-advocacy\, and enhancement of community living skills. Go-Hire provides training for Adult Peer Support Specialists\, Youth Peer Support Specialists\, and Family Peer Support Specialists. \nTraining is $ 200 USD – please use the link below to register and pay for the training. Payment is due at the time of registration. \nPLEASE NOTE: THIS TRAINING IS VIA ZOOM – A link will be emailed once registration is complete. \nSpace is Limited\, and the calendar is subject to change. \nCertificates are provided upon training completion.
